Boca Raton Pastor Vows to Fight Satanic Display–With Sledgehammer

A Florida middle school teacher has applied to erect a 6-foot-tall Satanic pentagram next to a Christmas display in a public park in Boca Raton this December, but a local pastor already has a plan to fight it–with more than just spiritual warfare.

Preston Smith is a language arts teacher who seems to have a history of promoting Satanism and atheism in his community. He plans to caption his Christmas-season Satanic monument with the words “In Satan We Trust,” “One Nation under Antichrist” and “May the Children Hail Satan.”

Mayor Jeremy Rodgers says there’s not much the city can do about it, unfortunately. “We can’t say no to this, as offensive as it is. Our lawyers said whatever you do, don’t do that. Because it will be an expensive lawsuit, he told local station CBS 12.

I have a feeling his lawyers would not give the same advice if they wanted to deny the Christmas display!

Mark Boykin, Senior Pastor at Church of All Nations, on the other hand, is not so pessimistic the monument can’t be stopped and he plans to take matters into his own hands.

Literally.

“It’s evil, it’s the essence of evil. I will take the responsibility for taking the sledgehammer and knocking it down,” Boykin said.

Now that’s a sword of truth!!

We mentioned yesterday in our coverage of the Satanic Temple’s ridiculous plan to attack Christian bakers that Satanists seem to mostly just want to stir up attention and controversy, and seem to define their existence mostly by public opposition to Christians rather than any solid philosophy of their own.

The Daily Wire reports that Preston Smith seems to be the same man who controversially led a Lake Worth City Commissioner meeting in a weird atheistic earth-worshipping prayer (a lot of oxymorons there) back in 2014.

Atheists and Satanists are never content to simply not believe in the God of the Bible, they have to make sure to shove it in our faces, provoke us, and mock us. We could live in a completely atheistic country and they’d still be angry we exist. Whether they believe in a real spiritual entity called Satan or simply pretend to be atheists who like the symbol of Satan, they serve his purposes anyway.

They hate God, and at the end of the day, they hate that He exists and that they can’t get people to stop declaring His name.

Obviously, this pastor is sick and tired of Satanists pretending that their leftist, godless beliefs are on the same level as Christian values. We are blessed to live in a country where we can freely worship, but there’s no point in pretending “Satanic” values are the same as Christian values.

There is such a thing as absolute morality, and if anyone has a moral system that is based entirely on the rejection of this Truth, they will lose out in the end, sledgehammer or no.

God bless Pastor Boykin for standing up to these silly Satanist bullies! Whatever happens, though, Christ has the ultimate victory.
