California Bans Parents From Opting Kids Out Of LGBT Indoctrination

The government run public education system here in America is no longer geared toward producing well rounded thinkers equipped with the skill necessary to thrive as an adult in the real world.

Instead, it’s all about creating future generations of adults who are in love with the state and see it as a parental figure, offering up their devotion and adoration to the government regardless of the oppression they suffer at its hands.

This is accomplished through indoctrination and if you think that sounds like a term for the conspiracy loving, tinfoil hat crowd, you haven’t been paying attention.

A prime example of indoctrination is rolling out of California, as the state has decided to ban parents from opting their children out of LGBT education.

Daily News Brief has the details:

Naturally, far left-wing California has become the first state in the Union to force kids to use LGBT inclusive textbooks. But at the same time it left no legal way for parents to opt out from the propaganda.

The gay propaganda law supposedly requires a “‘fair, accurate, inclusive, and respectful’ treatment of homosexual, bisexual, transgender, and lesbian Americans despite the historical insignificance,” according to Truth Revolt.

State publisher Mark Jarrett cited several historical figures who *might* have been gay saying that his textbooks will essentially make these historical figures gay icons.

“We’re not trying to make anybody gay; we’re not saying there’s an agenda; we’re not saying that these people are better than other people; what we’re saying is this is another group of Americans and they face certain prejudices,” said state publisher Mark Jarrett, whose history textbooks include special mention of the sexual preferences of historical figures like Jane Adams, Emily Dickinson, Nathaniel Hawthorne, President James Buchanan, though it’s inconclusive if these prominent Americans were gay or not.

“I think we should say, ‘Buchanan, he never married. He had a very good friend who was living with him. He may have been gay,’” Jarrett added. “On the other hand, at that time, being gay was seen as something evil and wrong.”

So rather than concern themselves with speaking truth and facts about important historical figures, school textbooks are now being crammed full of speculation about the sexual exploits of these individuals to appease a small minority of the population who is eager to make homosexuality an acceptable, normal practice.

Did it ever occur to the radical left that two men might live together as roommates? The LGBT crowd seems to have adopted the goal of destroying the notion of strong male friendships by insinuating that when two men are connected deeply it must automatically mean they are gay.

Guys already have a hard time connecting with one another, now, thanks to this insanity, forging male bonds will be even more awkward and difficult.

It’s sad this is the mentality our children are having pounded into their minds every day at school and is just another reason why we ought to fight for more control of public schools at the local level, or better yet, for all schools to be privatized.
