It looks like the Methodist Church isn’t the only UK Church pushing a gender-bending agenda.
This month, the Methodist Church in England ordained their first transgender minister, meaning a man, who decided to live as a woman while studying to go into Christian ministry, has been placed in a position of spiritual authority without being required to cease dressing as a woman and pretending he is one.
Meanwhile, as Christianity is coming under attack in the UK, the Church of England apparently feels it is more important to address bullying and homophobia and believes that allowing little ones to cross-dress must surely be the answer.
According to a press release from the Church of England Education Office, “Pupils need to be able to play with the many cloaks of identity (sometimes quite literally with the dressing-up box).”
“Children should be at liberty to explore the possibilities of who they might be without judgment or derision. For example, a child may choose the tutu, princess’s tiara and heels and/or the fireman’s helmet, tool belt and superhero cloak without expectation or comment”, the advice continues, adding that “Children should be afforded freedom from the expectation of permanence. They are in a ‘trying on’ stage of life, and not yet adult and so no labels need to be fixed.”
This is, of course, a country that is already rolling out an experimental Drag Queen Story Time program to prevent hate crimes (somehow) so it comes as no surprise.
Still, this is coming from one of the oldest and most well-established Protestant churches in the world. The government of the UK sending drag queens into publicly-funded schools is one thing, but a church telling schools to allow little ones to cross-dress? Horrifying!
The concept of changing one’s gender is unscientific and unbiblical. Conscience, DNA, and God’s Word are all clear on this…God made male and female.
As long as our society’s moral leaders continue to kowtow to this demonic agenda, it will only get worse. We need to stand up and speak the truth before it is too late!
