Elon Musk Warns of Population Crash, Not Explosion, In Wake of Declining Birth Rates

Given that abortion is the leading cause of death in the world, it should come as no surprise that a lot of experts agree we are facing a population crash, rather than a population explosion. Most people assume there are far too many people on the planet and this is an easy narrative to buy into when you hear the arguments from climate change alarmists. The truth is, the tens of millions of deaths due to abortion each year are all part of the inherently anti-human abortion agenda.

What does this mean for the future of humanity?

Elon Musk recently discussed the surprising reality of global population demographics with Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. Chairman Jack Ma, at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference in Shanghai last month.

“Most people think we have too many people on the planet, but actually this is an outdated view,” Musk said, according to a report by LifeSite News. He went on to say, “Assuming that AI (artificial intelligence) is fine – we’re assuming there’s a benevolent future with AI – I think the biggest problem the world will face in 20 years is population collapse.”

“Collapse: I want to emphasize this. The biggest issue in 20 years will be population collapse, not explosion, collapse,” he emphatically reiterated.

Jack Ma concurred, saying, “I absolutely agree with that, the population will be facing a huge challenge.”

Birth rates are declining all across the world, even despite places like China moving from a one-child policy to a two-child policy. Most countries are just not meeting “replacement-level birth rates” and the result is going to be older people vastly outnumbering young people. This would negatively impact economies all around the world, even in developed Western countries. This future society paradigm “could negatively impact, and could prove detrimental, to some of the main infrastructures – such as financial systems and healthcare – that contribute to living in a western democracy,” as LifeSite News points out.

An illustration would be to consider senior living centers. These kinds of facilities will inevitably put a major strain on society as a whole when seniors are the age majority. The cost of healthcare, being footed by outnumbered working-age people, to sustain seniors living in these types of establishments has the potential to skyrocket tax withholdings from every day working-class people. This will hold especially true in places where one-payer, socialized medical care is adopted.

Globally, abortion has become the standard in “dealing with” unwanted pregnancies and climate change advocates are happy to ride the coat-tails of that movement. It has long been the philosophy of global warming activists that if we can decrease the population, we can “save the planet.” This is a myth and not supported by actual science (over 30,000 actual scientists and NASA have confirmed that). Global warming policies and the push for more and more abortion go hand-in-hand and are leading us to a population crash crisis.

Of course, this is all contrary to what the Bible says. Not only does God tell us not to murder but He also tells us that only He has the power to destroy the earth God also tells us that babies are a blessing and to aspire to have many children, not to murder our children in the womb in some futile effort to control the population.

Population Research Institute President Steven Mosher shares Musk’s concerns over a population crash and points to the Bible for reasons to support large families, calling it “God advice.”

“Scripture tells us that babies are blessings and not burdens. And they’re blessings for everybody. They’re blessing for their family, for the parents, for their community, for their society, for the economy, and for the nation as a whole,” Mosher says.“So, I think that if people kept that scriptural perspective in mind, they’d be better: they themselves would be better off, and their countries would be better off in the long run.”

Folks, this is exactly what happens when we try to play god. We can never “save the world” if we reject the word of the One who created it!e

The fight to end abortion has never been more important. We are literally fighting to save the world one precious baby at a time.
