Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. (Isa 5:20 NIV)
There is so much going on here, and it is all wrong.
We were recently alerted to an event being held tomorrow at an Iowa church called “Drag-o-ween.” The event is for “LGBTQIA youth and friends”, specifically, 6th-12th grade.
The Aimes United Church of Christ boasts on their flyer for the event that they have been “open and affirming of people who are LGBTQIA since 2000,” and they clearly want to make sure to recruit youngsters into the lifestyle as well.

The event, held tomorrow, October 25th from 5-9pm at the church will feature a drag queen and drag king contest, and participants are encouraged to dress up in their best drag (or have their youth do their makeup!)
But don’t worry–the event is strictly for the youth and proper adult supervision will be provided!
What about Biblical supervision? Churches are meant to lead people to Christ and raise children up in the way they should go. Instead, this apostate church is leading adults and children alike away from Christ and towards a lifestyle fashioned after the way of the world.
Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them. (Romans 1:32 NIV)
There is nothing godly whatsoever about holding a contest for children and teenagers to dress up not only as members of the opposite sex, but in the style of “drag” which is normally reserved for highly sexualized nightclub routines.
There is being merciful and kind to homosexuals, and there is fully promoting the lifestyle and convincing those who are seeking God that it is completely consistent with Christianity, which it is not.
The Aimes United Church of Christ is proud of their affirmation of the LGBT lifestyle, as evidenced by their Facebook page which is full of rainbows and leftist rhetoric.
As Christians, it is our duty to address those who are leading children away from Christ and from sound Biblical knowledge.
Please contact Aimes United Church of Christ and let them know the damage they are doing by encouraing children to do what God calls an abomination (Deut 22:5) by giving them a call at (515) 232-9323 or visiting their Facebook page.
