In light of President Donald Trump’s declaration that today will be a national day of prayer in honor of those whose lives have been affected by Hurricane Harvey, many liberals are out in full force spreading their hatred for all things spiritual and positive.
“Hurricane Harvey first made landfall as a Category 4 storm near Rockport, Texas, on the evening of August 25, 2015,” reads a release from the White House.
“The storm has since devastated communities in both Texas and Louisiana, claiming many lives, inflicting countless injuries, destroying or damaging tens of thousands of homes, and causing billions of dollars in damage.”
The statement continues, “the entire Nation grieves with Texas and Louisiana. We are deeply grateful for those performing acts of service, and we pray for healing and comfort for those in need.”
“Now therefore, I, Donald J. Trump, President of the United States of America, do hereby proclaim September 3, 2017, as a National Day of Prayer for the Victims of Hurricane Harvey and for our National Response and Recovery Efforts.”
You’d think that would be a pretty agreeable statement, right? Regardless of one’s political viewpoint, we all can agree that those affected by Hurricane Harvey need some prayer, right?
Liberals, caught up in their usual misery, are out in full force mocking the sentiment.
What religion are we Praying in? Are you forcing the atheists to pray too? You do realize you can't force this on us right

Pray for your resignation.

Nothing could make me less likely to pray than you proclaiming

However you do understand that prayer is free choice right?

Praying to the so-called god that sent the hurricane? Or the one who did nothing to stop it? What a joke.

Who the hell do you think you are? The dictator?

No. This is a country based on religious freedom. You may proclaim left and right but that is not happening.

Can you even imagine being as bitter and miserable as some of these people?
Fox News host Greg Gutfeld put it well when he stated that leftists have been left completely triggered by the unity on display following the tragedy of Hurricane Harvey.
“Traditional leftists are in malfunction mode,” he stated. “This is why you’re seeing them now blame Trump for this or for that. They’re trying to find a narrative that matches their grim worldview because Harvey has destroyed their worldview.”
