Major Child Sex Trafficking Bust in Minnesota, 28 Children Rescued

Social depravity in America is becoming an epidemic, especially involving the most vulnerable among us: children.

When children are victimized there is no greater tragedy.  Earlier this month, during the NCAA Final Four Tournament, an operation was executed by State Police in Minnesota which resulted in 58 people being arrested who were part of a child sex trafficking ring.  A shocking 28 victims were rescued from this wickedness, 1 of which was a minor.

The sting involved state police officers pretending to be minors or sex buyers, according to a report Wednesday by Reuters.  The report also said that the officers are not looking into this as being a part of a bigger sex trafficking ring.

The Bureau of Criminal Apprehension spokeswoman Jill Oliveira told Reuters, “These were separate instances where they either responded to undercover officers posing as sex buyers or undercover officers posing as minors.”

According to authorities, the breakdown of the charges includes 47 people being charged with felony solicitation of a minor or solicitation of someone under 16 for prostitution and 11 more arrested on probable cause of sex trafficking charges.

Drew Evans of the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension told Reuters, “This operation is an example of the aggressive steps necessary to stop traffickers and johns who buy and sell people for sex in our communities.”

We are, thankfully, seeing an increase in vigilance among law enforcement when it comes to the unthinkable crime of sex trafficking. In another sting in Florida earlier this year, dozens of men were charged with solicitation of a prostitute, including New England Patriots owner Robert Craft.  That sting revolved around the visiting of a chain of Florida spas.

Be sure your sin will find you out.

Kraft pled not guilty to the charges and has maintained his innocence.  Prosecutors recently offered to drop the charges in exchange for Kraft paying a fine and going through 100 hours of community service; Kraft turned down this deal.

Sex crimes have been on the rise in the US, as our society devalues and cheapens the status of women to “liberated” sex objects and the boundaries that once protected children are slowly eroded by the “tolerant” left who promote pedophilia at every turn.

Where is the #MeToo movement when it comes to child sex trafficking?
