Scholastic Inc Pushing Transgender Picture Books For Kids

One of the staples of attending a public elementary school are the fundraisers put together by companies like Scholastic Inc., one of the world’s largest publishers and distributors of children’s books.

Unfortunately, it seems the progressive agenda has also infiltrated this company, as it’s now using it’s platform to push pro-LGBT books for kids, including a picture book that attempts to normalize transgenderism.

This shouldn’t come as much of a surprise, given how hard the left is pushing to sexualize children at younger and younger ages, indoctrinating them with the intent to make homosexuality and other forms of sexual deviance acceptable practice.

One Million Moms has more:

The corporation, for example, published a pro-transgender book called George for 3rd graders. “When people look at George, they think they see a boy,” the book reads. “But she [George] knows she’s not a boy. She knows she’s a girl.”

According to its website, Scholastic Inc. reaches 6 million children per week with its publications. It features morally toxic reading lists for children, such as:

“Books for Two-Mommy Families”

“Great books for Two-Dad Families”

“6 Picture Books About Transgender Children”

The American College of Pediatricians warns:

“Conditioning children into believing that a lifetime of chemical and surgical impersonation of the opposite sex is normal and healthful is child abuse.”

Here’s a few photos of the covers of some of the books being offered by Scholastic:

While not shocking in the sense that this sort of thing by the left is becoming more and more common place, it’s disturbing nonetheless, as children, our most vulnerable citizens, are being used as political pawns to help progressives undermine the family and reserve more power for the state.

Delicate topics of sexuality should not be discussed by teachers and public school institutions. These issues are better left to parents who are the ones tasked with passing on values to those belonging to future generations.

One Million Moms offers the following email message and subject line in case you aren’t sure exactly what to say:

Subject: Scholastic does not have my children’s best interests at heart

Attn: President and CEO Dick Robinson,

As a parent and member of OneMillionMoms.com, I am urging you to please discontinue publishing and promoting pro-homosexual and pro-transgender books for children, such as George by Alex Gino. Picture books that deliberately target young children with the idea that a biological boy can become a girl are false, harmful, and confusing. I will not support a company that purposefully confuses children.

Scholastic is attempting to normalize gender dysphoria, which is a mental disorder that requires psychological help and not praise. The American College of Pediatricians warns: “Conditioning children into believing that a lifetime of chemical and surgical impersonation of the opposite sex is normal and healthful is child abuse.”

You will not have my financial support as a consumer as long as you veer away from family-friendly material.

I look forward to hearing from you regarding my concern.
