School Plans to Protect Students From Shooters With…Rocks?!

This is beyond insanity.

There are simple, clear-cut measures that can be put in place to prevent more school shootings, and yet the gun-grabbing fascists on the left are determined that their minions in the public school system do anything other than arm teachers or actually prosecute criminals, because that would actually make a difference in the number of school children affected by gun violence annually.

No, they have got the wool clamped over the eyes of the general public, and the cognitive dissonance among uninformed, firearm-phobic Americans is so strong that they are coming up with the most ridiculous “solutions” to gun violence.

Once again–anything other than actually protect the students.

A school district in Pennsylvania has come up with an answer to gun violence so proposterous, even the most vehement gun-grabbers have called it a bad idea: they are arming students with rocks.

Yes, literal rocks. River rocks, to be precise, as laid out by Blue Mountain School District superintendent David Helsel, who told a local station last week that “Every classroom has been equipped with a five-gallon bucket of river stone. If an armed intruder attempts to gain entrance into any of our classrooms, they will face a classroom full students armed with rocks and they will be stoned.”

Stoned.

The scary thing is, Hesel is completely convinced this could be an effective security measure against a semi-automatic weapon, explaining that “the right size for hands, you can throw them very hard, and they will create or cause pain, which can distract.”

The question is: how many students will be shot while they find the right rock size for their hands?

Is this guy seriously for real? There has never been a better reason to use armed security in schools and/or arm teachers to protect their students. In the last month and a half, 17 students were killed because a school resource officer and sheriff’s deputy sat on their hands outside a high school in Parkland FL, while one school resource officer in Maryland was able to neutralize the threat of a school shooter within seconds because he was armed.

Even Shannon Watts, the rabid anti-gun activist of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, told Yahoo Lifestyle “I think this is a really bad idea,” ironic considering she is unlikely to be in favor of teachers being armed with anything more powerful than a river rock.

How many straws are the left going to grasp as they continue to deprive American school children of the security they deserve?
